The Toltyian Empire is an interstellar nation originating from the planet Toltyi, in sector A1D3, following a philosophy of noble combat, honour, and service to the Empire. Their species is known as the Kankar.
While the technologies available to the Toltyian Empire are far more advanced than that fielded by the Magiyanii, they are still outmatched by the Dakiscan Federation of Planets and Holy Yurgaian Empire.
The distant ancestors of modern Kankar were ambush predators, very fast and agile, suited to a variety of Toltyian environments ranging from temperate woodlands to rocky highlands. These proto-Kankar had long tails that helped them balance their weight, but in modern Kankar the tail is reduced to a vestigial nub, often covered up by the chainmail short-leggings worn as part of the Toltyian Empire's uniform for their warriors.
The Toltyian Empire is actively hostile with the Magiyanii and tensely neutral with the Dakiscan Federation of Planets and Dakiscan Rebels.
